Jezabel Jess Star Of The East
1 - A New Home
Hello, I’m Jess and I recently left my birthplace and my Mummy and Daddy and brothers in Yorkshire, and came to live in Essex with a nice lady called Linda. She came up to get me with a friend of hers called Kiss, who thought I was adorable.
1. Daddy Scooby inspecting my travelling case to make sure I was safe before my journey South.
When we left, Kiss had me sitting on his lap the whole way, and I was a brave girl and didn’t cry once. It did take a long time and we did stop so that I could have a few drops of water and some fresh air. It was very late when we got to my new home, but there was another Lhasa called Leo, who I’d met before, and a cousin of Linda’s called Pete, waiting there to meet me.
They put some food and water out for me but I was too excited and wanted to explore and play. So Leo and I went into the back garden and had a little game of chase.
There was a step into the garden and I found it very hard to get up it, but Leo saw I needed help and gently pushed me up with his nose. After that we had a rest in the living room, and Chris found me a nice pillow to lie on, with Leo keeping a watchful eye from the other end of the sofa.
When Kiss got up, Leo came over to make sure that I was alright. I think he’s a star.
2. Pete saying hello to me. I think he was worried about hurting me.
3. Linda holding me and Leo. He does look a big boy. They tell me he used to be as small as me.
4. Me and Leo in the garden.
5. Me, Kiss and Leo on the sofa .
6. Leo told me what some of the things in the garden were. Here, we are looking at a swing chair. He says it goes backwards and forwards and is great fun to sit on, but I'm not too sure about that.
After that we played a little bit more, but it was late, and I was tired. So we went to sleep.
The following morning I was fast asleep, but Leo’s claws clicking on the hall floor woke me and I let them know I wanted to come out. I had my first look at the garden in daylight, and it was big with lots of grass that we could play on.
Anyway, Kiss has gone back to
his house now. There is lots more to tell but I am waiting for some more pictures so I can tell you next time. Love Jezabel Jess.
